For a couple of years now I've meant to give a link to Tony Breed's comic, "Finn and Charlie are Hitched." It's a sweet daily life comic. Give it a chance.
Y'know, every once in a while I wish my site had comments on the strips. A lot of cartoonists I know talk about how it builds a nice little community amongst the readership.
Then I remember all the horror stories I've heard of readers of other comics going completely batshit nuts in their comments, freaking out about random stupid things or becoming obsessive or spouting out their insane conspiracy theories. And then I remember, "Oh, wait, then I'd have to moderate that shit."
THEN I remember I'd eventually snap, hunt various readers down and make them into flesh masks. I mean, sure, that would be nice at first but then they start cluttering up my space and I run out of wall space. Sure, I could give some away as gifts at holidays, but then I run the risk of giving someone's face to someone else who knew and possibly misses them. I'm not sure how big it is but I'm pretty sure that's a social faux pas.
Then I think, "You k now what, this is a nice arrangment." -R.
