Morning! First off, let me start the day by prostituting the my art shop. Specifically, we now have prints of the November 14, 2014 strip,
Big Smiles, Everyone!" I know there were a few people interested so here's your chance! There's lots of other stuff
in the art store and, starting tomorrow, I'll be putting all the 2014 comic art up (bit by bit, day by day).
So, I spent the first half of 2013 posting blog posts more regularly than I had in about a decade. 2014, however, I didn't post a single one. A few people asked why. Honestly, the only real reason
is I didn't have a lot to say (although people who follow me on Twitter might argue I never shut up). Honestly, the last four or five years, I've
probably withdrawn more and more and just don't have a lot to share (and have become a bit more guarded about sharing personal details online). I'm going to try to change my blogging habits a little
this year and post at least 2-3 times a week, although mostly it'll be rambling about the comic.
I give it 'til February before I give up.
I'm also planning out conventions I'll be attending as a vendor/artist and that is, after such a nice, easy year last year, both exciting and nerve-wracking. It's mainly nerve-wracking because a
big thing seems to be convention sites requiring vendors/artists to email them to get table prices. This probably wouldn't be obnoxious if most of the conventions actually ever replied to those
emails, which they, of course, don't. Two have, however, and one I submitted an application to and am just waiting for them to tell me yes or no (since it's in two months, I'd hope they get back
to me soon). That said, I will be at Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle, Washington, March 27-29 with my convention wife,
Danielle Corsetto. This will be my... fourth year? I think so, yes. It's always a fun show full of fun people.
I'll post more convention here as I get it. See ya tomorrow. -R.
